Hannah Clark is a documentary photographer from Ringgold, Georgia, currently living and working in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A in Photography in 2015 and received her MA in Photojournalism from Ohio University in 2024.
Much of her work is influenced by her Appalachian upbringing and her love for meeting and collaborating with others. Hannah uses her photography to explore how region shapes our individual and cultural identity, our health outcomes, and our communities. She is endlessly fascinated with aging and death, inherited rituals, and family bonds.
In her spare time, she plays electric bass, drinks lots of tea, and writes website bios in third person.
